I dropped it off today. The tech looked at the wiring and said he can’t see anything wrong with it! Anyway, I’m going to have him do the setup for it. I should have it back next weekend hopefully. This shop has a pretty fast turnaround time considering how busy they are.

Ironically enough, I just got home from a Sunday afternoon/evening gig and I took the Les Paul and the Kramer. About half way through the 3rd set I broke a string on the LP....out came the Kramer and saved the day..... and sounded KILLER. (I used it for a half dozen songs the needed a whammy bar in the first set too)

Found it, it was hiding at the bottom.
Dayum!!! That thing sounds GREAT, very dynamic tone, excellent neck and bridge tones.
Russian pickups? Which flavor of that brand (Fuko-something?)
Congrats man, you've got yourself a great new guitar!

The brand is Fokin. The guy that makes them is Ilya Fokin. This is the second set of pickups I’ve bought from him and I’m going to buy a third set too. This particular set is a “Hot Breeze” bridge and a “Rocket Queen” neck. I’m going to get a set of p90’s for my LP Special next!

I have heard that those Hamers have really big necks on them. I be never played one though so, it’s only what I’ve heard.

Better too big than too small lol. 😜 I could thin it down but it's another big job. Would rather be playing than working on them lol but hey.....save lots of $ doing it yourself.
