2018 Changes/'Tweaks'??

Just now read on another forum that the are 'changes' and 'tweaks' to the 2018 QR's.  Can anyone on this forum confirm this?  I am also email Scott to ask him.

Do you know what those changes are? This is the first I’m hearing of this.

I just did some googling on this and really didn’t come up with anything that led me to believe any changes were made.

Did you ever get an update? I'm really thinking of getting rid of my Kemper for a new Quick Rod. So I kinda want to know if there is any benefit tone wise to go with latest model or trying to grab something a year or two old on the used market.
