So i finished the guitar today. I installed floyd original, did a faux binding, leveled crowned and polished frets, oiled fretboard, neck and binding.
I really love this guitar! Sounds so warm and plays like butter. I am liking the emg's now lol. Gtjunior.....there is a big resistor connected to volume and tone pot.......i am wondering if this is why they don't sound so trebly? They sound great now that i raised them up bit. To be honest, bridge sounds very similar to my jb and wolfgang with maybe a tad less bite at top but overall ......tone is close.

Could be....I’m no expert but iirc I have read where a resistor can change the value of what the circuit “sees” in regard to the potentiometers.
In other words, if you have 500K pots in he guitar but there is too much treble response the capacitor (or resistor....I forget which is used...I think a cap?) will drop the value of the pot. The lower the value, the less treble response.
I actually have 250K pots in my LP because I thought it was too bright with the QR.
