Hi all,
Bought a used QR of Reverb. I was tossing the idea around of finding an amp that can do classic Marshall and hot rodded sound. I think I found it and good price too.
I've had several amps. Bogner 101bs have always been up there on my list but I needed to have a simpler approach with classy look.
One thing that this amp really shines at is a mid heavy that can dial in glassy highs of an old Marshall. The mid knob on the dirt channel is really fun to switch between sort of a scooped modern sound and then roll it up for a vintage hairy classic. Pretty good stuff. It has plenty of low end to boot.
Good to be a QR owner. A lot of clips out there Don't do it justice.
