I was testing the levels for some recording and caught this moment; I didn't even know which amp I was playing at the time and then realized it was the Splawn. Kind had me feel'n it... Backing track is the Digitech Trio +

Great tone and playing... wow! OK, enquiring minds wanna know... settings! Gear? OD1/OD2? Gain? Channel Volume? Loop volume? EQ? Effects used? Here are the setting: The intro was OD1 I think 2nd Gear and at some point I think I switched to Solo on? My rig is a bit complex.. I use an Eganter Amp Switcher that allows you to toggle between four amps into a single cab with a line out ideal for a W/D/W configuration. I run the speaker out of the amp switcher into a Fryette Power Station for a speaker load and use the line out on the Egnater Amp Switcher to my FX rack and then out that in stereo to a VHT 2/50/2 into a pair of Port City OS 2x12 loaded with WH Veteran 30s and ET65 mix. Whew... The FX were a Lexicon PCM80 for reverb and an Eventide Eclipse for delay. And thanks everyone!!!

Wow, channel volume was pretty low, did you have the loop volume down at all? Thanks!

Ahh, that would explain the low channel volume... these things are ripping loud without some attenuation.
Interesting that you get that much "oomph" out of a low volume setting, half power engaged by any chance?
Edit: I'm gonna have to try that at practice tonight, lower channel volume, bit more gain and less loop attenuation.
These Splawns really take some tweaking but man they sound great!

I need to record a clean channel clip... Getting some amazing tones with an Eventide Eclipse and Lexicon PCM80. Like LA in the 80s!
