I just shot this for work, and had a lot of fun. I don't usually use my QR as a pedal platform for demos, but really enjoyed how this EXH overdrive sounded through the QR on gear 1, OD 1 set on the edge of breakup. The dirt is coming from the pedal, but you can hear that signature robust QR power section behind it really beefing it up. The company I do these for is a Marshall dealer and not a Splawn dealer....sooooo....we'll see how well this goes over.

That sounded great! I've been looking for a clean boost to use with my QR. I'm looking to use it on the clean channel with some compression to try to get that "pushed Fender" thing happening. Have you tried to do this with this pedal at all? Since it has the two channels it seems it could be used as a low gain OD as well, which would make it super versatile for me...

It's a really versatile pedal. I found that it worked great on the clean channel as well as the dirty channel. It does anything from a clean boost, to overdrive, distortion or straight up fuzz. Truth be told I'm not the biggest fan of most EHX pedals, but this one really impressed me...especially paired with the Splawn.

Can this pedal be set to do both clean boost and mid gain sounds, without having to make knob adjustments? In other words can I just use the 2 foot switches to toggle between clean boost and mid OD tones?

Unfortunately no, but the Suhr Koko boost does that really well!
