Spoke with Scott via email this morning.
My amp is burning in today. To be shipped tomorrow.
Can not wait to get it.
Made a few cosmetic alterations since I posted last.

Scott emailed me a pic from FB this morning. Amp is done and I've recieved the UPS tracking info. I am beyond pleased with how this amp looks. It is different than the direction I originally went with. I think this is a bit less "vicious" but still retains a sufficient "meaness" quality to it. It's "bitchin" as far as I'm concerned. =) My excitement factor is very high right now =) I'll post a NAD after I crank it for a few hours, Yes I will be cranking it, not restricting this to bedroom levels. =) Can't say enough cool things about Scott, and all at Splawn. So glad I went with them. Totally awesome customer service. Cheers, Tom

I went with the nitro headshell too but different tolex.

Thanks! I've decided on getting a Creamback loaded 4x12. I'm not sure if I'm going to get a matching BOA cab w/black grille. Might just go for a classic black on black, or possibly a black cab w/salt and pepper grille. Thanks again, Cheers. Tom |

Whatever you decide keep in mind that you can always order a new, different head shell from Scott. So maybe you'll want to get something that will be a match for several different shells....just a thought.

I also currently have other heads that I may want to use the cab with. While I am a fan of wild tolexed heads, I tend to always gravitate towards the classic black on black cabinet. They just work with everything =), they also allow the Head to be the focal point. I have some time to consider it, not getting one for a few months at the earliest. Cheers, Tom |
