So I picked up this '13 QR with the B+ mod and loop volume master a week ago and I'm loving it! I know it looks ridiculous but I'll be ordering a new head shell soon. Either the 800 style with matching checker board clothe or black plexi style. Anyway the cab's loaded with U.K. made greenies and sounds fantastic with the QR.  |

Hiya TX, Purple is awesome!  Nothing at all wrong with that purple headshell in my opinion. In fact I'm a fan of different "flavors" of headshells and esthetics. Different strokes etc... I'm still waiting on my QR, so major congrats on having yours ! Cheers, Tom |

Yeah, I agree with 054Tom. I like your amp just the way it is. The Plexi/800 look is def cool but a bit overplayed. I can understand why one would want that though. Mine started its life off with the Plexi shell. I traded it to xdawnofadream87x for what I have now.

Thanks guys! I just meant the miss matching head and cab. I bought from a guy with the matching cab loaded with creambacks. I just couldn't justify another cab as I already own a Friedman BE100 half stack and a Mesa Mark IV and OS Mesa 412 along with this Marshall cab.
I owned a Nitro the first year they came out and just couldn't gel with it. Granted I was running it through a Marshall cab loaded with 75's and some cheap guitars. I do have to say...this QR is definitely giving my Friedman a run for it's money.
