Briman & GtrJr,
I really like the red chicken knobs too, they add to the menacing quality for sure. The head does look dangerous, lol, nice description, venomous is great!
Hammered,
I've also heard great things about scumback speakers, but I've been using V30s for so long I never considered checking them out personally. What do the scumbacks excel at, punch, highs, mids, break up, etc...in other words, what is their speciality, specifically in the blend with the creambacks? Just curious if you dont mind.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Tom

Cheers, Tom The Scums and Creams are variants of the Greenback . The Scums are a little smoother and the Creams have a little more bite but they are pretty new . Someone did a comparison a few years back

The red chicken knobs look awesome. White would look great too. +1 White would look classier Red def looks meaner I'd get those two colors and see which looks best. Either way, it will be a great looking amp.

Incidentally I just sent my specs to Splawn this morning at their request. I am now officially in the build queue. Not sure exactly how long the wait will be, but I am assuming approximately 3 months. Is this a fair expectation? Cheers, Tom

I would guess about 3 months wait Tom. My buddy bought a quick rod in the fall and waited just a tad over 3 months. Unfortunately. .... it will feel like 9 months to you lol!
Hammered - your cab must sound incredible! Top notch speakers you have there!😆
