Splawndude, I'm at the very beginning of the Splawn journey... I just placed the order for my head today.  I'm assuming the good folks at Splawn will get the order on Monday, and contact me regarding my specs as per the order form. I am fully prepared to wait 3-6 months if that is the case. I was nearly ready to order last week, but I had not yet decided on what headshell/tolex/faceplate I preferred. Cheers, Tom |

GtrJr, It took me a couple of weeks of indecision, then I found one I liked after doing a search for splawn heads. I believe this particular head is on Splawn's image gallery page, ( I think that's where I pulled it from). This one fits me style. I'm also going to order a set of black chicken knobs as an alternative if I get sick of the red chickens, although I do like how the red ones "pop". Cheers, Tom  |

Cheers, Tom Yup, that's a Super Sport style box with black racing stripes and snake skin tolex. Sweet. The snake skin looks killer, just not for me personally but it is very eye-catching. |

I admit, I do like my heads to be crazy and sometimes obnoxious looking. I know not everyone will be into the Boa/snakeskin, but I dig it!. =)
I seriously considered the Nitro headshell as well, but I liked the Superstock with this tolex etc...

I love the snakeskin! I think it looks dangerous with the red chicken heads! Black ones would look classy but less dangerous!

A little off topic (but not much) here`s my Super Sport . Got it converted from 6v6s to EL34s a few weeks ago so I think now it`s technically a Street Rod. I`ve got Scumback M75s up top and Creambacks G65s on the bottom  [ |

I considered the scumback speakers before I got the Small Blocks....they are a great speaker but they ain't cheap!!

I originally wanted to go all M75s in the 4x12 as I had 2 H75s mixed with the Ms and it just didn`t sound right to my ears . I stumbled across a good deal on the Creambacks so I got em . Theyre still breaking in but sound really good mixed with the Ms  |
