Yup...I built a small "necessities only" pedal board and did a fill-in gig with my friends band that I gig with when they need me. Needless to say the Splawn performed flawlessly. It was very different from my Marshall and it was friggin LOUD! I had to use the loop volume but I think going forward I may need an attenuator. Before the gig actually started I was playing through the amp with the volume around 11:00 and it sounded so good. Only waaay too loud for the gig. So I had to put the volume down to about 9:00 and use a small amount of the loop volume to make it work. Anyway, the other guitar player had a Marshall TSL, and my QR blew it out of the water. At one point a buddy of mine came up and played a song so I had a chance to go hear the amp from the FOH. Full, thick and angry....the TSL was buzzy and thin. The QR is gonna take a little getting used to in a live situation....it's just different than what I've used for the last 20 years but I couldn't be happier with it!!

Dude that's where it's at! I'm playing my Splawn at band practice and rehearsals, I'm loving it! Sweet story, thanks for sharing.
