Hey guys just wondering if any of you gear heads out there might be interested in this amazing head switching unit. Finally you can use that two Splawn setup you've been dreaming about. Let me know if you are! Selling an Ampete 222 rack unit, brand new and never been used. Switch between your two favorite amplifiers and/or cabs. * also switches between effect loops, which if any one knows that has ever had a two head set up, is more difficult due to needing to buy extra midi switcher and syncing with midi controllers. This unit will not forget to switch your loops when changing heads . Also the Ampete 222 will not send a signal if a cab load is not present. Fail safe option is awesome just in case you forget to set up a cab or accidently switch to a second cab that is not connected. This unit is serous and takes amp switching serously, safely grounding out unused load. Not to mention it is only a one rack space unit, very convenient for rack space. Ordered directly from Germany, installed into my rack unit but never bought a second head, turns on and works perfectly. This unit is hard to find on the used market bcs no one ever wants to sell it again due to its amazing and easy to use design. This is not grandpa's rack unit from the late 80's, this is ground breaking technology. The Apete 222 is simply the best two head/ two cab / two effect loops unit out on the market and takes a month to receive. Not to mention the very expensive price tag. Brand new, original box, power supply, and how to use instructions. $1000

Looks like a nice unit Fight... most people forget about the f/x loops when contemplating running two amps. This would be the way to go!
But, in line with your title, I will be doing some amp switching soon (of a different kind however). I think I'm going to have to downsize and sell the QR and DSL, and get 2 low watt heads.

Just starting to put the list together but 18-25 watt heads like: Mark Five-25, Friedman PT, Victory Sherriff, Fender Bassbreaker 15, Splawn Super Sport, etc. If I can find them and the price is right, maybe just a couple of Marshall 1 watt heads.
