Figured cause I've been going to local jam nights I might want a ts9/808 type pedal. Came across one of these East River Drives.....nice sound! A bit compressed but works good with most fender amps.

Nice! I just watched a bunch of East River/808/ts9 comparisons and the River sounds pretty darn good! I'd never even heard of it that I remembered. I've been hunting for a used reverb. I want the Topanga but never see a good price so I am building a Surfy Bear since I have a few nice tanks laying around. I LOVE my blackface Fender Concert but alas, no reverb. Same exact amp as the Super Reverb but....without reverb..

Congrats! The East River is a very nice 808 clone, especially for the price. Analogman helped EHX get this pedal right.

That's right, I heard he had something to do with the design. And if you go to a blues night there is usually a fender combo there and this little guy sounds pretty consistent through all of them.
Angusdeadking - have you tried the Way Huge pedals? They make a great reverb...can't quite remember the name of it.

I use the Aqua Puss for slapback but havent tried anything else yet. Have you seen Bonamassa's (sp?) "Overrated Special". They make some awesome stuff that all seems usable. The Aqua Puss might be one of the best slapbacks out there. I want an East River now....

Sounds great in front of a clean, crunchy, or overdriven Marshall too! So far, I prefer the QuickRod straight in.
