Hu?! I thought it's always supposed to be in the loop. I never run delay in the front, I think it sounds best in the back.

Thanks man....what I meant to say was, because this delay is designed as an Echoplex in a pedal, the company recommends in front of the amp. The pedal also has the Echoplex pre-amp in it which just fattens up your tone so nicely. Thanks again!

I just used my 15% off coupon and ordered a Belle Epoch. Looking forward to trying this out! Felt weird ordering it online from a retailer when I could have just driven over to Catalinbread and picked one up direct. But, $30 is $30!
I've been using a TC Flashback, with the PGS tape delay toneprint (Echoplex emulation), and like what I hear with that.

I am always searching to emulate vintage club days VH tone....and the Echoplex is critical for that tone. I can absolutely nail what I am after with this pedal. Plus, it has the EP3 preamp built in which totally fattens your tone. Delay is my favorite effect and the Belle is incredible. |
