Alright guys, I bought this amp just a hair over a year ago. I agonized over this or a Quickrod and eventually landed on the Nitro because I figured it would work better for heavy, low tuned stuff. It's used in a band that plays 7 strings exclusively, and the low mid focus is just too much for that low tuning. It absolutely slays for anything down to about drop c, but below that even with a boost there just isn't enough cut.
So anyway, much to my dismay i'm gonna have to trade it off. Ideally, i'd like to get a semi-recent (loop volume) Quickrod, although i'd be open to other offers as well. No Rectos please, seeing as it has basically the same low mid voicing only looser, buzzier, and just overall crappier.
By the way, I live in Lexington Ky and I would be willing to ship, but would much prefer to meet.
Specs -2015 Nitro -KT88 -800 headshell in white tolex with white grill -Black chassis -White chicken head knobs -Black piping -FOUR button footswitch. Yes, four. I was confused by this, but I called Scott and basically the 4th switch is like a B+ mod, only on a Nitro. It more or less just makes things more squishy. Perfect for lead work. Sorry for no pics, but it's at my practice space, and i'm at work. If you're interested PM me and i'll try to get you some.

I thought so too, that's why I called Scott a couple days after I got it. It's a cool sound. Way too loose for rhythm work, but for lead stuff it sings. Makes the amp much less stiff.

Might be interested to trade my QR I just put in the classified. The clips I've heard the Nitro sounds a bit more for what I'm looking for playing a mostly 80's style rock. The QR upper mid is just not quite the tone I've used over a 37 year gigging career. What's your thoughts? the Splawn video of the guys trading off between the QR and Nitro, I seemed to be more drawn towards the Nitro for that singing lead tone.
