Hey there. This is my first post and I"m not sure if I put it in the right section or not. I just wanted to write a quick note of thanks to the great people at Splawn for creating such awesome amps! I've never been happier with an amp than I am with my Quickrod. I play with Joel Kosche from Collective Soul in his solo band. Joel has a QR and Nitro, and lately he's been playing the Nitro and it sounds great. Our amps blend together real well, and we're both very happy with our guitar sounds.
On a side note, I was driving from Pittsburgh back to Atlanta last month and I stopped by Splawn. Brian Smith (what a great name!..;-) was locking up and he asked if I needed anything. I told him I was passing through, and he reopened the store/shop and gave me a quick tour. If your reading this Brian, thank you very much! It was a pleasure meeting you that day. Thanks again for your time!
If anyone is in the Atlanta area, I might as well plug some gigs while I'm here..lol. We're playing at the Peachtree Tavern in Buckhead on 4/13, the Dogwood Festival at Peidmont Park on the 21st, and in Gainesville at Brenau University Amphetheater opening for Drivin N Cryin on 4/27. Come say hello if your in Atlanta.
