Anyone try SED El34 Winged C power tubes with JJ 12AX7 high gain+ pre's?
Or anything close to it? Did you like the tone and crunch from this set up?

This is the exact tube setup I use and it sounds sweet. Plenty of gain but retains clarity and touch sensitivity. You won't be disappointed.

Ive use that setup with my QRs and it sounded killer. I'm ordering a quad of SEDs next week.
JJs too.I can't wait to hear the difference with my SuperComp. Mullards and JJs sound awesome also with Splawns.
Lookin into the Gold Lion 12AX7s. Anyone tried these?
