my new (to me) Splawn Nitro w EL34s

first, thanks to austin for packing this thing so well...thanks buddy.

what can i say, i love this amp and it's everything i was hoping it would be. as some of you know i'm a "gain freak"... ;D. this thing has more than enough gain on tap. i DO still boost it with a TS9 in the front but that's just to add some sustain really. i have the gain at noon on OD1 and boost it a little with the pedal.

it gives me the sound i've always been looking for...total 80s metal. i run a NS2 in the loop and out in front and its BONE quiet. even with the boost. it's like it's not even on.

the clean channel is really great too and the loop volume is an incredible addition to a terrific amp. the EL34s really give that growl i've always been looking for and the preamp provides the gain i've needed.

all around a terrific job from scott and the boys.

nice amp von I bet it sounds amazing. I also noticed the picture of Randy in the back ground. I use to have that same pic among others of him all over my walls when I was just starting out. He was godlike to me back then hell he still is:) what an inspiration he was and still is . I use to practice 8 hrs a day back then I wanted to be just as good as Randy ....
