Hi all
have had my QR for 2 months now, and have loved every minute of it.
Just has a quick Q that I would post here rather than bother Scott.
When I plug straight into the amp, and press the loop in/out switch (with nothing in the loop), the tone changes considerably. With the loop active there is more high end and gain, with the loop inactive, the tone is muffled and midrangey.
Also when i switch the +4/-10 switch when the loop is on, there is a huge increase in the +4 poss.
I understand why there is a change with the +4 switch, but why does the tone change when the loop is switched on/off? Does anyone else amp do this?

yes, it does..scott told me that the fizziness (which I'm assuming you get when you have the loop engaged at lower volumes???) goes away with a little volume on the master....his words: "it catches up"

thing is that I like the fizzyness....go figure
even at higher volumes through, it still adds a bit of fizzy....which is good.
