there are all different types of 'clean'....Fender, Vox, Marshall, Mesa....I like the Vox class A sound if I had a preference....But, I have a Bad Cat amp that can bring that... oh, BTW, I don't play 'copies' music (so, I can suck and no one would (SHOULD) know the difference...) ....and another thing (while I'm at it...) If you play a Splawn distorted sound and then switch to a different 'TYPE' of clean, you run the risk of too much disparity between your 2 sounds...I had this problem in the 80s when I ran Marshall JCM800s for distortion and Roland JC120s for the cleans...
