I've got some NOS tubes I'd like to try in my QuickRod...before I do I just want to be sure I know exactly where the trim pot is. Is it the blue square with the white plastic screw in it? Has anyone done this?
Thx

The bias pot is the smaller blue pot with the copper colored screw in it.The one with the white screw is the hum balance pot.

Hamerfreak,
Thank you...BTW, what exactly is a hum balance pot? (I've never heard of that before.)

The way I've been told,a hum balance pot basically controls the amount of hum an amp creates internally. So you can see why I say not to mess with it.Splawns are very quiet amps as far as high gainers go.Kudos to Scott for a great design!
