Now, your running EL34s in yours right? I am thinking about getting a Quick Rod with clean channel. I am really into the old school late 70s Marshall thing. I am into old school Def Leppard(High and Dry), Van Halen(Fair Warning), Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake(Slide It In), Scorpions (Blackout/ Love at First Sting), etc. I want something that can fuse those tones. I like a lot of gain, I just want it to have that old school vibe with punch. The Pro Mod can almost do this, but its to modern. Don't get me wrong, I use it for Zakk Wylde/Metallica stuff. I think by adding a Quick Rod I will get the classic hard rock tones I want! ;D
