Shredder,
I figure the VH fans would likely dig it. The pickups are dimarzio.. Air zone in the bridge and a Fred in the neck. I am probably one of the few people that feel that the guitar has little effect on your overall sound. I have played quite a few guitars through my rig and they really sound much different. To me its mostly your amp, speakers and your touch. As long as pickups are waxed and they are not super high output most guitars sound good to me. I think dimarzio makes some great pickups at reasonable prices.

never played an airzone, but I've played a fred several times...they have a good sound but (wait for it) dont have high enough output for me...LOL....just don't fit my style....but they're warm and pretty thick

Its a med output. There is nothing special about the way the guitar sounds but its a one of a kind based off the VH shark guitar. All the parts are quality... To bad I am a bedroom player. No one gets to see it but me...

JB's I guess.. the ol standby Cool Axe, watch them corners! LOL... I busted up my flying V's corners a few times :-(
