Hey guys,
I currently have a splawn 212 with the Gov/MOW speaker combo. I like the overall sound of my cab with the QR pumping through it, but lately as I've been recording more and experimenting with mic'ing the speakers I realize that I really love the sound of the Gov. Mic'ing the speakers individually is the only way I can really hear them in an isolated fashion and after doing so I realized that I greatly favor the Gov over the MOW. I am not contemplating taking out the MOW and just having two Govs in the cab.
My question is would doing this make a significant difference in how my cab sounds? I like how it sounds but now that I am more aware of how much I really like the Gov's tone I am curious to see how the new cab setup would sound. But then again there's nothing really wrong with how my cab sounds now; it's just when I listen to the speakers alone I feel differently.
Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

im guessing they just fill in eachothers lost frequencies and if u took one away u might loose something you like.. at the cost of a new speaker which then has to go on eBay... done that a few times :s
