Scott got my PM back yesterday and got it fixed the same day. It was a hum balance resistor that went. I wish I knew more about electronics. I am sure it was an easy fix. At least they got to check out the hole amp. They replaced the resistor and the tubes. They ran it for 6 hours before they packed it up to ship. They said a tube shorted out and there was so much power that the fuse just didn't catch it in time (I did have it cranked pretty damn high). They said it is not a common occurance, usually the fuses catch it in time. Just my luck. Oh well, relatively little damage. It could have been way worse. It get's shipped out today and will be back to me this coming Tuesday. Hopefully nothing happens during shipping. They apoligized up and down. They said it was no consulation, but they threw in a T-Shirt. Nice guys. It's cool to have an Amp maker that cares so much about his customers. I can't wait to crank this up again. I miss it!

Well FedEx changed the delivery date to Wednesday now. Man this sucks! Can't wait to get it back!

That's really cool of Scott to do that! Man, I wish other companies were as helpful as that. After hearing so many horror stories I am coming to find how important it is to have an amp from a company with great customer service!

I am running two cabs. I have the matching Splawn cab with Eminence Governor/Manowar X pattern and I also have a Zwengel cab with Celestion G12T-75/V30 X-Pattern (basically an Ubercab, made by the same cabinet maker).

Nice selections there  I have the Bogner with 4 V30's. It great but I would like to try it with an x-pattern cab. |

Just buy two G12T75's and take two of the V30's in the Bogner cab. You can always switch them back.
