I was in a female fronted band for years....I found it very unfulfilling musically. It’s not really what I’m into. But we had a lot of fun and it was a good band nonetheless.
I know what you mean but this one is pretty good about that. The Blondie stuff is fun but doesn't have a lot of intricate solo type stuff.
The Benatar stuff though...  And they all like the talk box that I use.
Also doing some Journey... if you've seen my thread on MWGL ggg I've got a thread discussing the Don't Stop Believing opening lick.

I don’t like the political overtones over there and when I complained and asked if the politics could be kept strictly in the politics thread I was berated by the boys club. |

What is MWGF?
I pop in here periodically along with Rig Talk and Guitar Gear Forum.
I also occasionally go to Ultimate Guitar but mostly for tabs, lessons and articles.
Never really hung out at The Gear Page, Marshall Forum, Boogie Boards, Seven String, Seymour Duncan forum, Friedman (Huge Racks?) board, My Les Paul, Fender forums, etc what did I miss?

It’s just another forum. Cvogue and I knew each other from that forum.
They allow a thread for political talk. And although I personally didn’t visit that thread because I prefer to talk about guitars and music, political content now and again creeped into threads where I felt it didn’t belong.
Clearly I was alone in that thinking , so I don’t go there anymore.
There is a clear cut anti-Trump sentiment in that forum. Feel as you may, people are entitled to that but keep it where it belongs.

I'm usually against discussing religion or politics at any time let alone a forums. Guitar and amp forums even more so.
Thing is, I'm sure there are tons of forums out there that people can join to do nothing but discuss politics or religion or both.
Why people need to get into that on gear forums I have no idea. I guess that just happens. People are passionate. I'm sure it pops up on motorcycle forums and travel forums and sewing forums etc.
But yeah.
I had just never heard of MWGF so I asked.

MWGF is Mark Wein's set of forums. I went there after I got frustrated with the Harmony Central forums for this kind of thing long ago. I was off of all forums for years and I found out that a lot of refugees from HC went to the MW forums so I go there now and then.
