I have a Street Rod combo. There is a jack for the cabinet speaker on the underside of the amp chassis AND there are jacks for external speakers. Question is, without risking an impedence issue and damaging my amp, does the cab speaker jack disable when an external speaker cab is plugged into the amp?
Thanks
Dave

Great question, I asked Scott about what impedance setting should be used with an external cab. Connecting an external speaker does not disable the internal speaker (more is better!) and the impedance setting should match all speakers in play (i.e. internal is 16 ohms and if your external speaker cab is 16 ohms then the setting should be 8 ohms on the back of the Street Rod.
