Hey Guys - Just filmed a video for my new Splawn Nitro. Love this amp! A lot of fun to play, with a great feel. Some excessive jamming in this vid, but hard to stop when I plug into the Nitro. Hope you all dig it.

Sounds fantastic. Was your setup just direct into the amp? If not, do you mind giving usna rig rundown of what you're using, effects-wise?

Ahh...a 7 string being played through a Nitro. I play 7s and I am looking a either the Nitro or Quick Rod. This gives me an idea of what I'm looking at since I was considering a 4x12 with BB. Thanks for posting!

No pedals in line. I did add some delay at mix down. Wanted to demo the sound of the amp plugged straight into it ... still need to experiment with running pedals out front. I am really happy with the amp tone plugging straight in. It doesn't "need" a boost, although it would be cool to experiment with pedals for different tones.

Yeah you've got a great tone going into the amp direct but boosting the nitro is quite popular and sounds killer. 808's are a poplar choice for boosting it to get a good metal tone but there are obviously myriad options.
Can't wait to hear some elf with this amp!

Can't wait to hear some elf with this amp! Cool! I do have a few Xotic pedals, like the RC Booster, that I like a lot ... just haven't tried them in front of the Nitro yet. I have heard guys talk a lot about running boost pedals out front of the Nitro ... going to have to try it. Will also try the 808. Thanks for the tip! ps. I can't wait to hear some Elf through the Nitro too! Working on finishing my new solo album now, then it is on to the Elf.

Stick an Analogman modded Maxon OD9 in front of the Nitro if you get a chance. Coupled with a Bad Bob booster it is a devastating sound.
