Nitro without 2 tubes

My question is: Can I use my nitro with two Tubes?
I always use it in 50 watt mode. This mode uses only 2 tube? Can I just take 2 Tubes on the sides? 1&4?
or anyway, even if I use 50-watt mode all 4 Tubes should be in the amplifier?

Your Nitro can run with only 2 tubes,the middle two sockets. Hope that helps.

You can remove the outside pair of tubes if running in 1/2 power mode exclusively. You should also re-bias the amp if you plan to do this.
