dude, the clips sound great!!! if you put a script phase 90 in front of it (a big part of the VH original tone that alot of people overlook) and you'll be right there

Thanks man! It's funny, at home through ref monitors I really heard the difference but here at work through average desktops it's hardly noticeable, lol. Guess I'll leave things be and move along!

I was kinda thinking the same thing..lol...just sh!tty work speakers here...I'll listen to it at home of course...but I bet you probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference in a blind taste test...both rock!

yeah what shreder said... and another thing the phase 90's (and MXR flangers) do.. because they were not true bypass and because Eddie ran all that sh!t in FRONT of the amp,, it takes off some of the annoying high frequencies leaving a nice warm "browner" tone. Just having it in the chain helps ALOT.
