I'm the guy that doesn't look like Brad Gillis...LMFAO cool pic and cool story I liked this line too! Is Brad also the guy in that video with several famous players, but he's the only one that goes nuts and does some epic over-posing and gyrating in the studio booth by the mixing desk while cranking out his solo? I seem to remember it was also a bitchin' solo. |

yes, that's for "Stars", a benefit for 3rd world children organized in the middle 80's by the late great Ronnie James Dio. He wrote that song with Vivian Campbell, and they had a who's who of the day come in and do choruses and guitar solos. Brad Gillis and Buck Dharma kill on that one! Geoff Tate, Halford, and the late Kevin Dubrow sing on the verses. I used to have the Guitar For the Practicing Musician fold out poster of that one, as well as the 45rpm of it, lost in one of my many moves...There was a full length LP with some of the player's songs on it.
That's great you got to meet him and he was nice Vom :-) Night Ranger is a killer guitar duo. Now they can only get attention in the midwest US.

Me thinks you should have taken each other shopping for clothes.... I mean did you seriously wear a Tommy Hilfiger shirt to Night Ranger,, and did you pick him up at the golf course... or??? LMAO Don't listen to Craig VOM. I don't think he even owns ONE shirt with sleeves! Besides, when a respectable looking guy with short hair and nice clothes rips people's faces off with a shredding giitar solo people go "Huh?" Go against the grain brother! |

you guys have most certainly EARNED the right to bust my chops.
the show was at Mohegan Sun Casino and i was there with some friends of mine (girls). i didn't want to look like a dirtbag. In the effort of full disclosure ;D...i was also wearing by black checkerboard vans LOL. Chicks. Dig. Those.
now please also take into account that i love Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger...not in a ghey TJ way but just their clothes.
i also need to disclose that in the past 6 months i've had 4 separate hot chicks tell me that I'm the best dressed guy they know. It's not much...but it's something.
also, if all you guys can find to make fun of is my Hilfiger shirt then i'm ahead of the game, motherfookers!
