After being ampless for 3 months I received my new Street Rod today from Scott and the boys. I have to say that in the short time I've been able to play it I can already tell it's a winner! I recently downsized my rig but this thing sounds just as big as my old setup. A few quick words...the clean channel on this thing is very very nice! I was worried that the lack of a gain knob would be a problem but the thing sounds great all around. Also there is a ton of gain in this thing, more so than the QR and Nitro in my opinion. And I love the new loop control. It works great! It may be my favorite Splawn that I've played thus far! A few quick shots of the new amp and mini-rig (not fully wired up and waiting for a true bypass looper still): I'll try to take some better photos and offer more of a review soon.

Same here. I've actually thought about the head version even though the combo would probably be the more practical choice!

i think i would love to have one just because of the weight and according to kevin if you want bigger sound drag in a 4-12 and it'll push it fine, does any one know if you can get a streetrod 2-12? if so i might have to sell the cab!

The SR kills all by itself.....and it crushes hooked up to a 4X12......

thanks everyone. i really am digging this amp and could not be happier. here are some updated shots of the rig with my completed board: signal path is: pitch black -> tone press -> splawn street rod fx loop send -> fv500 -> nova delay [loopmaster 1] -> nova mod [loopmaster 2] -> fx return

Looks great windsen! I’m gassing for one of these too. If I had the cash to get another Splawn it would definitely be a Street Rod combo.
Damn I want that Gibby Custom too!!!! Oh well I have an Edwards now of the same version and I love it.

I went a little easier with this one and did Vintage white with salt a pepper grill and gold piping. It'll be just a little different than Winden's.

you buttholes, everytime i order one and it gets close someone orders it. Zewango got the one I had coming to me, and surprisingly wanted the SAME exact specs. I got another in queue. Hopefully one day, I'll get one to me. Let me know what you think TJ!
