EDIT: So. I just listened to those clips. L O V E them. style is a bit heavy for my. but I am very pleased to hear that you can dial out some of that harsh brightness it sounds like. I think this is the amp I want.!
How much of a difference is there between 88's and 77's? I'm no tube guru, but from what I remember 77's are more EL34ish with higher mids and 88's are more like 6550s with lots of smooth low end and not much breakup.
