u half to connect it with a cable then from the out to the in to complete the signal flow if not u wont get sound if its working thats not true..ive just engaged the loop with no cable it works just fine. you may have problems down the line if your loop is "on" but no cables plugged into it. i had volume issues at a gig where the amp would "die" every 2 minutes or so and that's because i had the loop running with nothing plugged into it |

Why?[/quote] that's how it is. scott recommends to not run the loop "on" if nothing is going to plugged into it. it ruined one of my shows and i never had that problem again after scott told me what i was doing wrong |

Good to know. However, if that's the way it is... It should say so in the owners manual. I checked and it doesn't.

Josh @ Splawn actually told me personally you can run the loop with no cable as a master volume and it will work. So if yours isnt working that way, you may wanna have the amp checked out.
