Thicker skin would probably be in order here. The man was living the dream and it ended for a cliche reason. While he is resting in peace his family, girlfriend, bandmates etc are paying the consequences and devastated by his passing that did not have to be. It's a senseless, preventable death.
To be more in spirit with the the thread though I will say that I saw Slipknot and Slayer at a Tattoo the Earth festival about 10 years ago and loved the power of those bands live. I cannot listen to Slayer or Slipknot at home or in my car much but live I am all cards in with the energy these guys create.
I do apologize to those of you who accurately labeled my comment insensitive. I just don't see Paul Gray as the victim here but I am very sympathetic to his family and friends that will have to sort out the mess that is left behind.

I just don't think you should say that his death was caused by Heroin. When none of the recent reports confirm any drugs in his system.
The cause of death is still unknown.
