Thanks for the plug Ayton.. I'm still working on the website... I just launched it 5 days ago. Yeah your right I probably need an editor for sure,, lol.
I've been teaching since '91.. full time for 9 years and only sporadically for the past few..until recently I didn't have the time to commit to it full time.. now I do, so I'm doing it 4 days a week and working on the website and book whilst playing a bunch of gigs too...For what its worth I think I'm a much better teacher than I am a player. 80's wankery is only really 1/10 of what I do..especially if you've only heard me on the Splawn clips.
That Robert Lee Molton guy from leadguitardomination.com... its just a horrible approach to learning. The first thing he shows you are 2 string sequences in G Major but,,, he starts on an F# on the B string!?... what a moron. If you start on F# its Locrian.. ugh. He doesn't explain what "Ionian" is.. and you could literally get all 8 weeks of that crap in one lesson from a GOOD teacher. blah. The guy has some moderate chops and can play,, but clearly does not have a solid understanding of what the modes are.
Anyways thats why I'm putting together my own system... and its going really well so far.
