Hey Gang, hope all is cool & you're enjoying the holiday season. I finally got around to making a couple of short clips after owning my Quickrod for about 2 years. Cab is loaded with the standard Celestion 75watt speakers found in most Marshall B cabs in an X pattern with Celestion G12H30's. I swapped out the Dimarzio's in my Charvel San Dimas for Suhr Doug Aldrich pickups as I found the Super Distortion to be was too trebly in this guitar. Volume is pretty low although it appears to be loud! The rooms sucks & is super bright, but you can still get some decent tones. Suhr Aldrich pickups. I used to have them in a Les Paul and I had the neck pickup in a Strat that I put together. I find that the highs are pretty smooth & they're nice n' punchy in the mids.

those aldrichs pickups sound hot as fook! me rikey! I'm glad you rike em'. I find them really well balanced & they cut through in a band situation. Will post some clips with the neck pickup later tonight. Btw if it weren't for the sound clips you posted back in the day, I wouldn't own a Splawn, so thank you!
