I caught an episode of Pawn Stars on the History Channel tonight, where this guy came in looking to sell his vintage Les Paul. Said he played with Triumph and Toto, didn't catch a name. Anyone see it? Long straight blond hair, kind of a Doug Aldrich look.

He wanted $25,000, right. his name is Rick Santers or Sanders (maybe), Dam nice guitar. worn paint, as if that will affect the tone that LP has in it.

First that whatever is going on with him he has to sell this classic guitar he's loved for decades. Second that the specialist said it wasn't a 1960 model worth $25k, but a 70s model worth about $3k.

It might be the guy was the silent 4th member of Triumph. Maybe Kevin knows more, but I think at some point, for some shows, Triumph had another guitarist to fill in the sound to better match the recordings. Or it might have been just for some of the live concert video shoots. I vaguely recall this being the case, but it was so long ago, way before the internet or any other means of staying on top of goings-on within other bands.
