So I'm looking for a bit more saturation with my Comp. I just picked up a Fulltone OCD but I dont hear a big diff. just lots of feedback. Am I doing something wrong? Have any setting? Any OD/boost ? Any help please. Noah you're in Nashville right? So is Outlier who does the pedal mod to the YJM pedal. THat thing is perfect for adding more saturation to your Splawn. Give him a buzz. His name on the forum is "outlier" You'll find some threads in the gear section raving about his pedal. Im from Rockland county NY about 45 min from NYC

I think there is a "get to know ya" process if you are coming from another amp. I used to feel this way also, but don't anymore. I was going to post something similar to this. Don't panic. Give it some time. This is part of their sound, and why they are dynamic and cut so well/record so well. Don't listen to him, panic man!

I agree with this statement, Im AT HOME with my Comp, although I have the gain around 3 1/3 oclock with a GREY MOD boost, its THEE perfect breakfast cereal.

whats this grey mod boost? where can I get one?How much? The EVOSEVIC and WHITT Grey Mods i have BOTH on my pedalboard, both are unique and different, I wont part with either. My signature "MOR-Drive" pedal by JHS Pedals is 2 months of back and forth ideas to where I got this. Its a two channel monster. Channel ONE if gais are rolled back can get transparent grey mod tones/roll the gain up and you get MODDED "Crunch Box" tones with a slight tone twist. (smoother!) the channel TWO is over-the-top but controlled sustain. It sounds to me almost reminiscent of an EBOW. the note keeps going to an amp feedback tone thru the speakers. I stand near the cab about 4 feet away and the note wont stop sustain, and its TRANSPARENT So...... I have two grey mods and THIS bad ass, call my kooky, call me crazy, but dont call me Larry...lol! Ask Josh at JHS Pedals about the "MOR-Drive" if interested in buying one. He can get you one in about 3 weeks.

It adds more bottom chunk and tightens up the EQ for articulate cutting picking! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv0EAnPTW7I

Through my experience if you want more saturation you need a good clean boost. Most people think adding a dirt pedal with grit will get you there but that just kills the tone IMO. Hit the front end with a clean decibel boost and the tubes will naturally oversaturate. I use a RC Booster for that.
