You have earned the Ayton tent pole. Settings will depend on speakers (what you got?) BUT one thing that is a must: turn that Solo knob up to at least 9 o'clock, all the time, whether you're using the Solo Boost function or not. It is interactive with the master vol and needs to be on at least 9 to stop making your tone thin at lower volumes. I wince when I look back at my old photos and videos before I knew this trick. Your amp sounded great the day you took it out of the box! There is video documentation of this. I know, but imagine if I'd known the trick! I think it sounds better now than it did then, what with all the speaker swaps, the solo knob trick, learning how to dial it, learning what pickups it likes, woods, that sort of thing. They are so responsive, it seems you can just keep learning. |

Anyone have any settings they can share?
Also looking for a bit more saturation for some stuff I play. Any pedal or boost to look at?

I looked at the front of mine, no rotary right, but yes to the solo volume, I'll push the volume to where you mentioned , thanks for the tip, I'll get my white first week of July Scott just emailed me, its off to Uli sky Academy now, tomorrow is the big day!!! I had not seen my Dad for a year and a half and I normally see him a couple times a year. Recently we have had conflicting schedules and he has had some health stuff. He is doing well now thank God. I am sure that Uli Roth was great and I do hope to see Uli the next time that he is in the area. Now go ahead and tell me how GREAT it was LOL. |

Thanks to everyone. After this week I finally get the amp. It took me some time to get used to it but now I love it.It has this tone all its own . Thanks once again to Scott and crew. The QC is great.Time to save up for a Super Comp now.

Good job Noah! Glad you dig the Competion, I get my shell this Friday!! Scott FEDX'd it Monday of this week, FINALLY I'll post the pics Friday of MY Competion, it was one of the first 3 made!
