Still grooving to this clip, its been saved to my 'guitar tone' reference folder. Blown away that this was done with an ISO cab and only one speaker, lol, incred, has me ready to sell my 4x12 and move down to a 2x12 to get that tighter, more focused tone.
Mongo only pawn in game of life

Now that is awesome. Matt, I think this is my fave clip of your's to date. Solid, chunky and aggresive mmmmm it's all in there. I think you should join my band, we could do with some talent ;D If it weren't for the slight geographical issue you probably wouldn't be able to keep me out of your band! ;D DEM guys..."hey is that Matt again?......He brought his guitar again too......who told him we'd even be here???" Thanks for all the love guys. this amp slays!! I think it would be more like this: 'Anyone seen Paul?' 'yeah he quit to join a band with Matt.' 'He say why?' 'Yeah, he said that we all sucked?' 'Well he's right I guess, lets play some stooges!!' That's right, the bozo's would be right back to scratchy punk crap if left without guidance. Now what I'd like to see is our combined rigs flanking left and right of the stage.....Awesome

Mongo only pawn in game of life An ISO cab is very tight (I own one after hearing and talking to SC350 about one). I'm not sure if it is due to it being ported, the top enclosed, or a combo of the two. It makes a mushy amp sound tight. On palm mutes for instance you don't have to mute the strings with your fret hand to silence any additional string vibrations during chuga chuga stuff. It's hard to describe. I put Dynamat and egg foam in the top of mine to replace the fluffy batting material to silence the cab even more and I think it made the tone even tighter. I have a V30 that came stock in mine that I'm having a hard time finding a sweet spot on. A replacement speaker is probably going to happen soon. I highly recommend getting one if you do any type of tracking. It makes things much easier, quieter, and you can track while listening to the click and other instruments in the same room as your monitors.
