the Super Comp has landed!

Got my Super Comp today and it sound awesome! And I thought my Pro Stock had thick, tight lowend! This thing kills. Well worth the wait as usual. The downside is there was a miscommunication regarding the cosmetics. It was supposed to have red chicken head knobs that didn't make it in in time so Scott is shipping them out to me when he gets them. But it was also supposed to have a Nitro style cutout w/ black lexan panel and red outline flames. Scott is making me a new headshell and I'll be shipping this one back once it arrives. The upside...besides the killer tone of course. Scott has changed the control layout on his single channel amps and mine is the first one. Scott says they'll all be made w/ the control spacing like mine from now on. You can see the difference between my S.C. and my P.S. Now I need to pick up an A/B box so I can run these beasts together!!! ;D

Did scott say if the new control layout affects the tone? Kinda like how the single channel splawns sound different than the two channel because of the amp's layout?

L.C. as far as I know the layout change is simply aesthetic. Scott went for a look that fill the space a bit better I think. He also now has his C&C machine programed to cut the Nitro style control overlays instead of having them outsourced.

Thanks guys! BTW as much as the back of the control panel and the footswitch look white they're actually silver. I thought the all red lights on the footswitch was a nice touch too.

***EDIT***
I spoke to Scott today and it turns out the Pro Stock and Competition layouts will remain the same. Only the Super Comps will come with this layout from now on.

My new front panel should be here sometime next week along with my red chickenheads.
