OK, so me being a newbie here, and a newbie to splawn (I wont own mine for about 2 months yet when its done) I have to ask what splawn con is all about?  ?? where is it? what is it? what happens there? who goes? |

Everyone is welcome. It all started 2 years ago when I had the idea that i thought it might be fun if we all got together at Scott Splawn's shop in NC. One thing let to another and the first year we held it, it turned out awesome (the second year was awesome too). We visited the shop, received explanations on every aspect of building the greatest amps in the world, hung out, had a great bbq meal. Scott also rented a huge room where he had all these amps and cabs there for us to jam on....check youtube for vids. It was awesome!!
The second year (last year) was just as great. This time we stayed at the shop the whole time and rocked out! Had a great lunch etc. it is a casual time. Scott's family is there.
Scott is a stand up man.
It was a lot of fun hanging with the forum guys in the hotel, playing guitar, eating briskett Tacos, shooting the sh!t etc.
We canceled it this year to to major conflicts for many of the regular attendees. next year it will be on.

WOW! sounds like a good time! So what time of the year typically is this event??? Once I am a Splawn owner (in about 2 months) then get my feet wet with my amp I will feel part of the family here more and I could attend next year....... depending on when it is and what my schedule is.
