Man I love the clips on the site. I'm looking for something heavier then my modded Marshall. I have a Dave Friedman modded 71' Marshall Super Tremolo head with his 'Brown Eye' mod that I love. For the kind of records I make it's perfect but I want something heavier and I don't want to mess with the mod in that amp. I also have a Herbert which as I read on this forum is not so loved but I dig it. I guess I'm looking for something as heavy as the Herbert but with more of the sound of my Marshall.
Is the Nitro the answer?
Thanks

Still has that hot-rod Marshall base tone.

Thanks, I'm dying to play one, any one in LA got one I can hear? Are there any dealers out here?

Hey James, The Nitro is a stunning amp and I think you'll find that it will compliment the Herbert nicely. I find the Herbert has a radio/instant quality about it, which I've not come across in a tube amp. The Nitro on the other hand is more 'alive' with that distinct marshall voice with more aggresion and an emphasis on the mids and low end. I'm sure one of the guys on here can hook you up.
I checked some of the tracks on you myspace and your vocals are awesome. 30 days is cool, Herbert on that one maybe?
