Very interesting. He mentioned this to someone on the phone a couple of months ago, it's somewhere in the Quick Rod forum I think, but it was more vague. Hearing that all 2009 models come with that feature is really good news. I guess if I hear it works well I'll have to trade up as I usually play at what you guys consider low volume. Be tough to sell my Comp though, I spent ages designing it and we're very fond of each other. Anyway, bravo to Splawn for finally recognizing the home/apartment player. We deserve tone too! ;D Congrats on your amp, MH. All K9s will have this is what I understood.Yeah my Wife loves the ideal ;D It will allow me to have late night jams without killing the neighbors and thats a +

No, I hadn't heard but that sounds killer!! The way he explained it to me was he put a volume knob in the back and with the effects loop engaged it works like the volume pedal trick but better cause he tweaked it a little to get that massive sound at low volumes. All 2009s are coming with this hmmmmmmmm..may be time for an upgrade =D

super comp is "on truck awaiting delivery." sweet! Congrats brutha. Gives us your 2 cents when you've had time to put it thru the paces. I played one quite a bit @ SplawnCon and loved it. Can't wait to get mine.

MH the footswitch has a 'mode' button that, the way I understand it shifts the mids from more of the low-mid Nitro type sound to a bit higher mid closer to what you'd find in 3rd gear on a QR. Other than that you have your standard OD1/OD2 and a solo button.

im close to ordering my super comp. going for a pretty much JCM 800 look but with silver control panels, knobs and piping. hopefully. I play in a band www.myspace.com/thedirtymoney we just got back from our first USA tour. it was awesome. Ive been having bad luck with soldano, and ive been using my modded marshall 2205 at home, and it made me want to try something more marshall-esque. i hope the super comp will give me crazy good tone to suit my band!
