its still not here lol but tomorrow will mark 3 months since i ordered my amp. so hopefully it'll be here within the next week. i'll try to get pics and clips up

last week i emailed him about a tube question and he still hasnt gotten back to me so i figured its best not to be annoying and keep sending him emails

I wanna hear Scotts ironed out the kinks and hired some temps to work on the backlog ...
might even expand the business since its doing so well

Are you familiar with custom amp building? Waiting three months, even four, is nothing for what you get with Splawn. A custom built, hand wired, choose any option, 4 man shop. The quality is second to none and the tone SLAYS. Try calling Jim Marshall (hahah) or Reinhold Bogner and ordering a completely custom built amp to YOUR specs....see what the cost and lead time will be........that is if they actually take your call at their headquarters........ |

Ceriatone shipped my PTP w/mods in 6 weeks , but so what.
and it would be easy to be amazed that Splawn is doing so well with only 4 people , but that wasn't my point .

flogger you said you were'nt interested in waiting 3 months so I advised you to seek other avenues since that's the norm w/ Splawn. You're also the one who came back w/ "I don't want to hear that SH**T"..............like a jackass. Sorry to hijack your thread timzee. I hope your amp gets there soon. If it makes you feel any better I'm waiting for my Super Comp too (my 2nd Splawn BTW...). Never an easy wait. |

I hear ya man, I've been waiting almost 4 months now for my Super Stock. I sure hope it sounds good; there aren't many soundclips to judge from. And it's always tough buying an amp without trying it out in person.

Why don't you call Scott and ask him to hire some temps to come in and solder some $2000 hand-wired amps so he can catch up to your order. |
