Probably hard to tell. It may depend on how loud you were at the time and how long it stays disconnected. Not sure anyone could tell for sure. It probably would not hurt it immediately. Some production amps come that way. I believe Vox amps are wired in series with 2 8-ohm speakers for a 16 ohm load.
