The Shirt: It fit me 20 years ago - now... not so. Tight in the shoulders only of course.

If you can't hear everything that everybody else is doing.....you're playing too loud. ;D I felt bad for him really. He was having a hard time hearing his amp and his vocals (he's the singer). I missed a few key cues and F-ed up some things as well. I don't think the monitors were high enough - I couldn't hear them. I might have to consider 25-watt mode next time - it'll still cut well. Compy man I take it. I run mine in Triode quite a bit for that reason - no lack of cut/tone to be sure! Can actually get the power tubes greasy in triode mode (turn it up a bit) without killing off the first few rows of folks in front of the stage. Easy to get in the "zone" when you have a nice balance on stage...makes for a fun night!

DW, I personally really like the triode tone. I agree on it being a bit more greasy. Perhaps a little less balls, but still probably has balls to spare anyway. I might go with it next time.
