to get your amp after the order is placed? I was looking on ebay, and one guy who was listing his amp for sale said the wait was nine months. I don't believe that, but could someone chime in and let me know how long they waited?

nine months? lol..that's a crock =) 4 to 6 weeks....
there's an orange QR on ebay with third gear for a good price!
there's also another one on ebay that's original (shared eq) that said 'new, march 2005'...uh, I don't think so...=) from what I understand, the independent eq was around at that time...

If I get one, it's going to be brand new. I'm not an e-bay guy. I used to have a 2004 Pro-Mod, but sold it to my brother because I want the third gear thingy, and then decided I want a QR. I still haven't taken the plunge yet, but I think it will be soon. It may become my Christmas present to myself.

ANOTHER ONE?? man, I really wanna do what you do for a living..lol no you don't... suhrs aren't that crazy in price range...i mean my custom order came in at $2100 which isn't really that unreasonable...used ones are on the net for $1600+

we have different definitions of unreasonable then...lol...$2100 to me is a bit much... $2100 is a lot of money...but i've tried almost every brand of guitars...some being $$$$$$$$$$$$$...and i prefer the suhrs over all of them...infact, i used to show up to practice almost every week with another guitar...and the suhr i have has cured my gas...well, except for other suhrs...the funny thing is i bought a suhr standard a year ago and didn't like it...it was this one... the body was too thin for my tastes and i couldn't swap out the pickups...after a while i read about the classics and how they're more traditional...i took a chance and bought one that had the excat specs i would've ordered...i changed the pickups...and haven't looked back since...(now the suhr pickups are of the HIGHEST quality...don't get me wrong...but i'm used to my Duncans in the bridge) my new one will look like this but with a maple neck...
