I have a Classic 410 also. It has a great clean channel. I never really play it anymore though..

dave menniketti is playing the triple rec boogies and in summertime girls the other guitarist is using a marshall. however in your video clip which is newer it does look like splawns because those heads have a wider profile than the peavey classics. The heads in that picture dont have the logos on them.Splawns do have a special tone and some dudes may just be a little protective about them.

i can't see that youtube vid but it would be great if those were splawns because i know cameron worked on one of dave's marshalls and there's video of dave playing a cameron CCV at NAMM last january.

I love Y & T. "In rock we trust" was a great album. Meniketti is a great guitar player. I've seen them live several times back in the day and they rocked! That would be great if he would start using Splawn. Would do wonders for his tone.

Saw Y&T Friday last at The Academy in Newcastle here in the UK and both Dave Meniketti and John Nyman were using Boogie Triple Rectumfriers That being said, they didn't sound too bad for Triple Recs, mids turned way up!!! ;D

I used to have a classic 50 tweed combo with 2-12's. I also had a classic 30 that had 2-12's, i'm sure of it. Both were actually great amps, the 30 really had some growl to it
